Last Friday saw the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art open its doors for a great little opening, a twofold exhibit featuring Lethbridge installation artist Troy Nickle in the main gallery and fifty pages of comic from the Kelowna Comics Jam in the Members' Gallery. The turnout was good, the food was excellent, and the comics-inclined among us had a blast laughing at the jokes, gags, and impromptu death scenes we and our friends had written together. For those of you in Kelowna, or passing through this week, the show is still up! It comes down Saturday evening, so there's still time for you to come in and enjoy it. And if you can't make it, well, we've got you covered; we collected all fifty of those pages digitally for your entertainment.
